AutoCAD - this is a commerical computer aided design and drafting software application developed and marketed by Autodesk. There are several versions including AutoCAD LT. Buy a subscription and you’ll get all the rregular updates for free. Student licenses are also available
SketchUp -Available from Trimble . There is an entry version you can get for free . Which is well worth downloading to get you into 3-d modelling very quickly. Easy to trade up from there to professional versions
